According to the Baroda Pioneer AMC, following are the highlights of the scheme-
- Theme based approach to ensure greater Fund Management focus on Infrastructure as a category.
- The scheme will endeavour to build a portfolio that consists only of “core” infrastructure companies.
- All sectors under the “Infrastructure” umbrella can form part of the portfolio depending on their relative outlook - e.g. Finance, Power, Cement, Metals, Engineering, Oil, Construction, Gas, Telecom Services, Transportation, etc.
- Sectors that are indirectly linked to infrastructure have been kept out of the purview of the scheme - e.g. Banks, Automobiles, Information Technology, etc.
- Baroda Pioneer’s in-house research capabilities allows for effective tracking of all segments and spotting future winners.
