Shriram Transport Finance NCD 2010
Shriram TransportFinance Company Limited has launched Non Convertibe Debentures (NCD) offering return from 9% to 11%. Total issue is worth Rs. 500 crores and the allotment will be done on first-cum-first-serve basis. NCDs are better bet over FDs because they offer high liquidity.

Who Can Apply:
- Allotment on First cum First Serve basis
- Inter Category overflow in favour of individuals, then NII and then QIB.
- Interest on Refund amount 2.5%
- Interest on application money on allotted amount 7.00%

Who Can Apply:
Category I
- Public Financial Institutions, Statutory Corporations, Commercial Banks, Co-operative Banks and Regional Rural Banks, which are authorized to invest in the NCDs;
- Provident Funds, Pension Funds, Superannuation Funds and Gratuity Fund, which are authorized to invest in the NCDs;
- Venture Capital funds registered with SEBI;
- Insurance Companies registered with the IRDA;
- National Investment Fund;
- Mutual Funds;
Category II
- Companies; bodies corporate and societies registered under the applicable laws in India and authorized to invest in the NCDs;
- Public/private charitable/religious trusts which are authorized to invest in the NCDs;
- Scientific and/or industrial research organizations, which are authorized to invest in the NCDs;
- Partnership firms in the name of the partners; and
- Limited liability partnerships formed and registered under the provisions of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (No. 6 of 2009)
Category III
The following persons / entities:
- Resident Indian individuals; and
- Hindu Undivided Families through the Karta
Applications received from Category III applicants- Applications by applicants who apply for NCDs aggregating to a value not more than Rs. 5 Lakh, across all series of NCDs irrespective of whether they are Secured NCDs or Unsecured NCDs, (Option I, Option II, Option III and/or Option IV), shall be grouped together, (”Reserved Individual Portion“) while applications by applicants who apply for NCDs aggregating to a value exceeding Rs. 5 Lakh, across all series of NCDs, irrespective of whether they are Secured NCDs or Unsecured NCDs, (Option I, Option II, Option III and/or Option IV), shall be separately grouped together, (”Unreserved Individual Portion“). most of who who have applied the secured part on day 1 , have only got allotment. as it was oversubscribed on day 1 itself. only the unsecured part was not subscribed so those who have applied in unsecured might get allotment
